I am alone
because I choose to be alone
I can find a good price for my labour
but the more I labour the more I think
that I am responsible for the poverty of the world
so i don’t work
and sleep and read and write alone
i hope to return to the world
when i have found the solution
this is such height of arrogance,
i know
who has in the vast history of mankind
found a solution?
only madmen of the most crazy kind,
i know
i am aware of the deep complementarity
that any theory and any practice must have
but it is not as easy as it seem
the great theoreticians
say little about practice
and the great practitioners
find the theory too abstract
what is the point of theorising about God
when he is found hard-working
in the field, in the Sun
but the hard-work is not paid well
it is the way of the world
i know it from experience
it is cunning and cleverness
that takes you to obscene luxuries
you may carry bricks for days on end
for the highway or the restuarant
that you build
still not able to afford
a car to drive on the highway
or a meal in the restaurant
i live alone
like a parasite on other’s work
because the white-collar work exploits
and the blue-collar work is exploited
and that are the only two options
if you are a normal-obedient person
so much has been theorised by bleeding hearts
so little has been achieved in practice
for revolution is a risky business
that everyone is so uncomfortable to attempt
so i live alone
hopeless and penniless
writing a blog that no-one reads
rearranging letters to invert
the meaning, the logic of the world,
the market, the capital
we know
technology is killing the ecosystems,
the habitat, the environment
and we are told
we need more technology,
more robots and more automation
to cross this dark passage in the human hisotry
theory tells me
these are the twin struggles
the planetary and the social
and the logic of the capital tells us
that more trade and more markets
are the solutions
surely there must be a limit to this folly!
we replaced the invisible God
with the invisible hand of market
complacent in selfish self-interest
that everything will manage itself
only if we had more markets
it is no wonder
that many find it strange and absurd
and unable to reconcile
greed with common sense
slip into illness and depression
we have long been guided
by the logic of market
it has made us more insecure,
more vulnerable and more cynic
can we give care of home a chance
to heal humanity
i do not believe in more laws
and more regulations
but I believe in human
who has seen the light of love
and only love can deliver us
from here to there
from pain to joy
from negation to affirmation
enough of the band-aids
enough of the patchworks
let us for once try to be human
and have the courage to be in solitude
than contribute to the misery and exploitation
that is my argument
that is my wisdom!
